All of the newborns that I meet are so different with their little personality traits showing already at such a tender age. Little Baxter was just so gorgeous – so tiny, very sleepy and had the cutest little milk blisters. His mum also decorated the most amazing nursery which was so beautiful. I must admit I can get rather clucky after a newborn session – there is something so special about the first few weeks with your new baby – it brings back a flood of memories of my own boys. I really miss them being so little. This time passes by so quickly and mostly in a blur of feeding and coping with no sleep so it is lovely that I can produce some beautiful images for my clients to cherish. Baxter’s mum Leah received her session as a gift from a few close girlfirends – I love that this gift will be enjoyed for many generations…
{Leah and Pete – it was so lovely to meet you and your adorable little boy – Enjoy }

I love it when I get to visit a family that I have previously taken their photos – it is so great to see how much that gorgeous newborn, baby or child has grown. When Drew and Amanda contacted me to let me know that their 3rd boy had arrived it was so great to catch up with them again (and of course I have a soft spot for ‘3 boys!’LOL). Just over a year ago I photographed their two boys James and Zac and just recently had the pleasure of capturing their newest little arrival Blake. Normally I always recommend scheduling a newborn session when your baby is between 7-12 days old as this way we can be sure that they will be very easy to settle and curl into positions. Gorgeous little Blake was just on 3 weeks and wouldn’t you know after being Mr sleepy for the first 2 + weeks of his life he decided to stay awake for most of his session! But with a full belly and a few other tricks he could party no more and fell in a deep sleep for the rest of his session. Drew & Amanda – thank-you so much for inviting me to capture your newest little boy – he is just adorable. Next time James will love me – I just know it!LOL Never one to give up!

Meet gorgeous little Parker who arrived a little early then expected for his parents Renee & Franz His poor mummy Renee didn’t even get to finish work and put her feet up for those last few weeks! He reminds me so much of his Daddy Franz in the looks department -I don’t think his mum got much of a look in although this may change as he grows. Also in this household is the most gorgeous British Blue cat - he is adorable and acts more like a house trained dog! There were a few moments where I went to pick up my bag and he was in it! He will make a great playmate to little Parker!
{Renee & Franz – thank you for having me over to capture your gorgeous little man. You guys will make the most wonderful parents – enjoy every moment x}
