Raphael & Lucy | Baby & Children’s Photography Melbourne

Isn’t little Raffy the most gorgeous thing you have ever seen?? Such a cutie and at 11 weeks at age had a gorgeous ‘light up’ a room kind of smile – just adorable! When looking through his images after his session I couldn’t resist but to show you all his gorgeous expressions

Little girls are so much fun – Lucy and I played, sang and danced together.  Being 2 and a half can at times be challenging – especially when mum would prefer a different outfit for photos –  but hey –  a fairy costume, necklace, bangles, fairy toy, a magical wand and a fabulous orange train whistle really does look fabulous!

Natasha- it was lovely to meet you and your gorgeous kids-  will be in touch soon with your completed gallery – enjoy

Mr Darcy & Georgie Girl | Children’s Photographer Melbourne

One of my favourite types of sessions would have to be my ‘modern country’ children’s location sessions. I actually grew up on a few acres with a cow, a horse, dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, chickens, a lamb (anything else mum??) To be honest I am not really an outdoorsy type of person as my parents still like to remind me ! – much more a creative type but obviously growing up with a country childhood must of rubbed off on me as it is starting to show in my work.  I just love choosing a gorgeous location, add some cute clothing, a few props and you end up with something gorgeous and different.

I met up with two year old Georgia and her brother Darcy for an update mini session at one of my favorite locations. This is the third time I have photographed this family – I love seeing how much they have grown. On all previous occasions Darcy has not wanted to be my friend with me and my camera but persistence must be paying off as I managed to capture his cheeky smile this time! Little Georgia is just adorable and looks so sweet in these images as she wandered around the orchard. {Stasia – so lovely to catch up with you and the kids again – so happy that I finally managed to get  a smile from Darcy this time!! Talk soon xLOL)

‘My Girls’ | Children’s Photographer Melbourne

As I have three boys of my own it is always nice to have some gorgeous girls in my life – to dress up, play with their hair and have a girly chat. My gorgeous nieces Jasmine and Emma are ‘my girls’ and I absolutely adore them. Jasmine is the precious one – a slight princess, doesn’t like to get dirty, very high maintenance (hmm starting to sound like myself as a child!) while Emma is the complete opposite grubby, pulls her beautiful hair out in 10 seconds and is super easy going ( very much like my sister as child!) It always amazes my sister and I how the girls personalities are also so similar to my own first two – Lachlan  and Cooper. Currently I am begging on my knees for my sister to have another baby  - can you imagine the fun I would have taking it’s newborn photos!! Her girls are just beatiful – how could you stop at 2!!LOL

The gorgeous t-shirt that Jasmine is wearing can be found at www.cradlejam.com.au
 and was generously on loan for a photography session.  I had big plans for a session featuring this gorgeous apple t-shirt but due to my crazy schedule and the weather it just didn’t happen so a quick session in the studio was the best I could do.  Jasmine loved this top so much she begged me to buy it for her – she may just twist my arm! You can also find other items from this label at www.madeit.com.au

Client Sneak Peek – Emily | Children’s Photographer Melbourne

The weather for this session was so beautiful – I seriously could not have asked for more. With a glorious sunset, not a breath of wind and a gorgeous balmy evening it was simply  perfect. Emily’s mum adored the session I did recently for another gorgeous little girl Mia which you can see here and I was so happy that I could produce something just as lovely.  These were taken at one of my favorite locations and on a beautiful summer’s evening it is just so beautiful as the sun starts to set behind the red gum trees on this property. Emily was 2 and half which can sometimes be a challenge but after working out what made her laugh  - which was her Daddy pretending to tickle her –  she just lit up every photo I took – you can’t help but smile along with her! {Georgina & Norm – thanks for spending the evening with me – it was a blessing in disguise that we had to reschedule and change the location  - everything on the day was perfect – looking forward to showing you your completed gallery – so hard to narrow it down as they were all so lovely!}

My Gorgeous Little Man | Children’s Photography Melbourne

During the week while his older brothers are at school  Jack and I are enjoying each others company. While he does tend to drive me crazy and never leaves my side it has actually been really nice to have one child at home again.  Not much work is completed during the day as you can imagine with a two year old but thats ok  - I keep reminding myself to enjoy these years together before all of my babies are off at school doing their own thing.sniff sniff…. Best thing about having my home studio set up is I have a willing model everyday to practice on!  Jack has suddenly grown up in these photos – he also is really looking more and more like his mummy  especially when he has a serious look – don’t think daddy had much input to this one!LOL
