Merry Christmas | Melbourne photographer

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Louise Treacy Photography will be closed from the 23rd December, 2009 until the 4th of January 2010.  Looking forward to spending some time with my boys and family and just having a lovely break.  For those clients waiting for their galleries to be finished I promise to have them to you around the second week of Jan.

As an early Christmas present to myself and to congratulate how much my little business has grown this past year I purchased my ‘new baby’ – Canon 5D Mark 2.  For those who are in the know of all things photography related this camera is one of the best to be had.  I only picked it up yesterday but already I am in LOVE – the colours are gorgeous and the clarity is just beautiful and it even has a video camera function. Lots to learn –  Very exciting!  Here is a photo of my sweet baby Jack taken with the camera.

Over January I will be taking a ‘Photo a Day’ of my own boys – it is a great way to capture them over summer and to look back on all the fun we had – so check back daily to find out what we have been up to.  Lastly here is my own family Christmas Card this year – had so much fun doing this with the boys – Jack got stuck into eating the candy canes and went completely crazy!  - Louise x

Baby Photography Melbourne | Client Sneak Peek – Chloe

When clients ask me what is my favorite age to photograph babies without a doubt I would always say newborns when they are under 2 weeks old and that magical age between 6-9 months when they are able to sit but not quite crawling away.  Every now and then I do photograph babies that are 3 months old and start to wonder that perhaps this is a recommended age aswell.  At this age you can capture some gorgeous awake shots and  some beautiful sleeping photos are they tire out to the land of nod.  Meet Miss Chloe – such a gorgeous little thing with the cutest and tinniest feet I have ever seen  - so precious.  Perhaps they looked so tiny and petite as my 3 boys always had these huge chunky feet!  At the start of our session we had some awake shots and then off to sleep she went – doesn’t she just look so beautiful and peaceful sleeping away.

{ Chris & Sara – it was so lovely meeting you and your gorgeous little girl – just a quick sneak peak as I try and organise myself for Christmas (I only started my Christmas shopping 3 days ago as you know!LOL)  Will be in touch with your completed gallery in the New Year }

children’s photography Melbourne | Client Sneak Peek – Toby & Hamish

Gorgeous brothers Toby and Hamish – how sweet are they!  Little Toby who is almost 2 loved playing peek a boo under the coffee table, jumping on the trampoline and showing me all his favorite toys and his gorgeous brother Hamish who was 3 months having cuddles with Daddy. So sweet.  Just a quick sneak peek as I try and organise myself for Christmas – I will admit to leaving everything very late this year and confess that I only started shopping yesterday!!!  Note to self – not a good idea  - try and be more organised next year as it is way too stressful!LOL

{Brian & Ros – it was lovely to spend the morning with your gorgeous boys – just a quick sneak peek but look forward to showing you your completed gallery after the holiday period }

Newborn photography Melbourne | Client Sneak Peek – Baby Abigail

This little girl stole my heart – from her beautifully soft full head of hair to her gorgeous little girly lips. It complete amazes me that at only 7 days old she was already showing her distinctive personality.  No curly newborn shots for this little Miss – she adored to stretch out her arms high above her head while snoozing and who could argue with her  - how cute and comfortable does she look – such at ease with the world around her already. When I first met Leah and Cliff for their maternity session I just felt this little one was going to be girl and for once I was right.  So Perfect – So Beautiful – So Utterly Loved
