Children’s Photographer Melbourne | Client Sneak Peek – Bailey, Indiana & Summer

Last week I caught up with one of my girlfriends Belinda and her sister Mel to take photos of their gorgeous kids. Belinda and I used to work together at a real estate agents – not sure if much work was done actually as whenever the boss went out (which was alot!) we used to buy a block of chocolate, some magazines and sit at the front desk drinking tea like two old ladies on the porch!LOL

Belinda’s son Bailey goes to kinder with my little man Cooper – how spunky does he look in these photos.

Commercial Photography Melbourne | Habitat Baby

I recently had the pleasure of taking some commercial images for Habitat Baby.  Habitat Baby is an online store that sells gorgeous handmade quilts, pillows, sheets, lampshades – everything you need to set up the most perfect nursery. I adore photography, interior magazines ( I am seriously a magazine junkie!) and childrens products so when I had the opportunity of combining all three I was in heaven!LOL  I actually really enjoyed styling and then having the time to take the photo – no frowns, no tanturms, no chasing after a two year old!LOL  I certainly take my hat off to Carla who owns Habitat Baby as I cannot even sew on a button! LOL

 If you are after something unique and stylish for your nursery I highly recommend you visit Habitat Baby

Melbourne children’s photography | Client Sneak Peek – Lachlan

 Meet 14 month old Lachlan.  Super gorgeous and one very busy toddler.  I realised that when photographing this age group that worrying about the factors that I normally do such as getting the subject in the best lighting, camera settings  to a perfection  have to take a back seat when chasing these guys around – you really have to shoot in the moment otherwise you would miss the magical smiles and expressions!  And lets face it – these little ones move fast – it was hard just to keep up!LOL We had trucks, searching for planes, cardboard boxes, large bouncing balls, playing peek a boo and even a mop – anything to keep this little man happy!

  I was also super suprised when I came to Lachlans house and was greeted by his grandma which actually turned out to be my gorgeous Maternal Heath Nurse Mary.  Mary saw me through some very changeling times with my first baby who lets just say was a a super high needs bub!LOL  He never slept through the night until he was about 3 and half – not quite sure how I survived looking back now!LOL  He is now the most thoughtful,caring and gorgeous boy . Thank-God his brothers were completely different or maybe I was just a better and more relaxed mum – who knows!

{Abbey & Mary – thank you so much for having me over – Lachlan is one gorgeous little boy with a smile that lights up a room – enjoy your sneak peak and will be in touch once your gallery is completed}

Baby Photographer Melbourne | Serious Little Soul

Little Arsene is probably the most serious little bubba I have photographed.  I used all my fail proof tricks that normally get babies and children giggling away  thinking I am the funniest thing but this little man was having no part of it  - and wasn’t even going to smile for mum and dad (at least I know it wasn’t just me!LOL).   The cheeky little thing would give me a big grin when I took my camera away but as soon as he saw it  - it was back to Mr Serious.  I actually adore serious little faces – there is something so gorgeous about catching such an intense and quiet moment ( but one smile would have been nice!LOL)

(Ee Ling thanks so much for spending the morning with me – Aresene is such a cutie (even when he is serious!)  Will be in touch once your gallery is completed)
