A Family Occasion |Melbourne Family Photograher

Normally having to photograph such a big group of people scares me a little –   to be honest I am much more comfortable as an artist when connecting with small groups or one on one but I must admit after meeting this family of 14  I really enjoyed it and was great to see how they interacted as one big extended family – reminded me so much of my own! I photographed gorgeous little Christos when he was about 10 weeks old so it was great to catch up with him and his parents Anna & Frank again – he is growing up to be such a spunky little man and being the youngest of this family he is completely adored!

Most weekends you can find me chasing 2 year olds around at their sessions so it was also a welcome change to photograph these gorgeous group of cousins who actually co-operated!LOL. We had lots of fun and they adored getting their photos taken  - the girls helped by being my ’stylist’, Wil was amazing as he played his guitar (my husband would love to play like that!) and Andrew although he hated having his photo taken – just by mentioning his girlfriend I managed to capture a slight smile! You guys were great!

{Thanks everyone – it was so lovely to meet you all  - this is just a very small sample of the photos I took at your session – look forward to showing you the rest soon!}

Client Sneak Peek – Baby Zac | Newborn Photography Melbourn

I love how each of the babies I photograph are so different – each unique and beautiful in their own way. Not only by the way they look but also their personalities that shine through already at such a young age. Little Zac was six weeks old at his session and was already quite insistent of what he liked and didn’t like.  This little man loved to sleep wrapped up tight – if we tried to settle him without being wrapped his little arms would flap around waking the poor little thing! Being alot older than my normal recommendation of under 2 weeks for newborn photos we worked with what this little guy liked and once he settled he looked just so peaceful and blissfully unaware of me and my camera.  His parents Andrea and Tony are so blessed to have this gorgeous little man in their lives – such a cutie – miss him already x

{Tony & Andrea – thank- you for spending the morning at my home studio – hope you guys enjoyed relaxing! Will be in touch with your completed gallery soon x}

Baby photographer Melbourne | Client Sneak Peek – Alfie

Six month old little Alfie was not his usual happy self at his session – poor baby was cutting teeth so we had the majority of the session in grizzles, lots of dribbles and tiny hands in his mouth!  The fantastic thing about digital photography is that with the combination of being super patient, a huge team effort in entertainment (thanks mum and dad!LOL) and shooting consistently I still managed to capture that gorgeous little smile of his and such a cute one it was!

(Georgie & Graeme – thanks so much for having me over and for your fabulous entertainment skills with Alfie - definitely a team effort! – Enjoy your sneak peak and I will be in touch soon with your completed gallery}

Baby Photography Melbourne | A Gorgeous Family

Meet little Christos – at 10 weeks old and no longer a newborn – most times sessions at this age can be a challenge.  Not so for this little man – he had a smile that definitely lit up a room – and fell asleep for some beautiful sleeping shots – what a star! We also included mum and dad in the session and I must say I adore these family shots – what a gorgeous family they all make !

{Anna & Frank – thank-you so much for spending the morning with me – little Christos is just gorgeous and has the most infectious smile!  Will be in touch once your gallery is completed}

Little Miss Serious | Melbourne baby photography

One of the things I love most about my job is meeting my gorgeous clients.  Little Amelia was 6 months old, super cute, had the most beautiful intent stare and a set of the cutest little chubby thighs I have ever seen!  Her parents tell me she is actually quite a serious baby but we did manage to get a few smiles between us all!  She also had this little growl that she does when apparently she is happy.  All of a sudden she starts to look very grumpy, face goes all red and she comes out with this deep little growl!  I am still laughing when I picture it – just priceless! {Tim & Melinda – had such a lovely morning with you guys and it was so great to meet you – enjoy your sneak peak – plenty more to come!}
